Making others wrong so we can be right.

People who lack inner belief in themselves spend much of their time talking about what they have accomplished...pointing it out over and over and also spend an inordinate amount of time pointing out the mistakes or flaws in others.

In order to cover up their own inadequacies, they must make others appear "less than"...or make them wrong. Their own deep insecurities are the cause of this behavior.

People with confidence and certainty about themselves have no need to make others wrong.

The next time you hear someone talk inordinately about their past achievements or drag others down, have some compassion for them, as they have a deep seated feeling of being inadequate.

Confident people can easily praise and acknowledge others and have little time for gossip or self aggrandizement.

The only person we can control in this life is our selves. Spend time working on yourself and make others right, not wrong and remember...if you have to "pump" yourself up in front of others, it is telling others that you have a "deflated" sense of self.

Hopefully, they will have some compassion for you.
